Is Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal Vegan?

Yes! This childhood favorite of sweet crisp cinnamon-y squares is vegan based on the ingredient list. I’ve posted an image below for you to see as well.

Bet that just gave you a sigh of relief if you’re following a vegan lifestyle and got curious about this classic cereal. I will say, Cinnamon Toast Crunch still has quite a bit of sugar (9 grams of sugar with sugar being the second ingredient) and only 2 grams of fiber. If you’re choosing this cereal because of it’s nutrition, there are other similar and more nutritious options out there. I would recommend Barbara’s Cinnamon Puffin cereal that only has 6 grams of sugar and 6 grams of fiber.

Puffins Cinnamon is a more nutrient dense and still vegan cereal option.

If you’re wondering about other cereals being vegan in the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Family, below you’ll find the other vegan cereals in this product line up from General Mills.

Vegan Cinnamon Toast Crunch Flavors:

Non-Vegan Cinnamon Toast Crunch Flavor:

  • Apple Cinnamon Toast Crunch (contains lactose – a milk ingredient)

Do you like Cinnamon Toast Crunch? Do you like it more now that you know it’s vegan?? Remember if looking for a more nutrient dense cereal option that still tasty without tasting like cardboard, you could always try Barabara’s Cinnamon Puffins!

No, it’s not vegan. It has vitamin D3 in it, which is extracted from animal sources.

Good eye – D3 can be extracted from plant or animal sources and unfortunately, we don’t totally know for sure on this product.
