If you’re vegan or predominately plant-based and looking for sweet vegan snacks, you are in luck. As a 10 year plus vegan dietitian, here at The Vegan’s Pantry I review various vegan products and formulate lists of products I really love and share with clients (and now, you!). When it comes to sweet treats, I tend to gravitate towards recommending foods that will satisfy your sweet tooth but still provide some nutrition (fiber/protein) to help keep you satisfied in between meals. Now, of course you could go the whole food route but I wanted to focus primarily on packaged foods so you’d have a sweet vegan treat no matter where life takes you.

Best 6 Sweet Vegan Snacks

6. Nature’s Bakery Whole Wheat  Blueberry Vegan Fig Bars, Blueberry

What We Love: Nature’s Bakery Whole Wheat Fig Bars are nutritious, easy to eat, and super tasty! These vegan sweet treats are great for a mid-morning or an afternoon snack. With 3g of fiber and 3g of protein, Nature’s Bakery Fig Bars are a great vegan snack. Check out Nature’s Bakery Whole Wheat Fig Bars HERE.

Considerations: While vegan, these sweet treats pack 14 grams of added sugar and would not be the best choice for a small child who doesn’t need all that added sugar. For an adult, it’s still added sugar but can more reasonably fit into a healthy lifestyle.

5. PopCorners Kettle Corn Snack Pack | Gluten Free, Vegan Snack

What We Love: PopCorners Kettle Corn is crunchy, sweet, and just salty enough! These gluten free gems are sweet and satisfying while being 100% vegan. Check out PopCorners Kettle Corn HERE.

Considerations: PopCorners Kettle Corn is going to satisfy your sweet crunchy tooth but they don’t have a whole lot of fiber or protein (practically none), so it would be best to consume with some nuts, nut butter, or fruit to be a bit more satisfying.

4. Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP Gluten Free Sweet and Salty Kettle Corn

What We Love: Similarly to PopCorners, Angie’s BoomChickaPop Kettle Corn is salty, sweet, crunchy, and ulta-tasty. It’s deliciously popped popcorn that can be eaten just about anywhere you want a vegan sweet snack – in the car, at the desk, or on the couch. Check out Angie’s BoomChickaPop PopCorn HERE.

Considerations: With a bit more fiber (2grams per serving) than PopCorners, it slightly hedges it out in that department but there are 8 grams of added sugar compared to 3 grams of added sugar in PopCorners.

3. That’s it. Mini Fruit Bars Variety

What We Love: With only a couple of real food ingredients (like apples and mangoes for example), these fruit bars are perfect for kids and adults looking for a sweet vegan snack. Packed with nutrients you can only find in nature, these naturally sweet bars are gluten free and do not contain added sugars. Find That’s It Bars HERE.

Considerations: The dried fruit based bars can be a bit sticky and may not be the best option to hold on to if planning on typing at a keyboard or holding onto a steering wheel. However, the bars are *very* easy to eat out of the package to where you wouldn’t have to touch them at all.

2. Enjoy Life Foods Chewy Bars, Cocoa Loco Nut Free Bars

What We Love: Rich, dark, sweet, chocolately and ultra satisfying! That’s exactly what these Cocoa Loco Bars from Enjoy Life are like. Enjoy Life is free of the top allergens including soy, casein, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, dairy, and more. That makes these tasty sweet vegan treats perfect if you’re looking for an allergy friendly food that’s easy to carry around on-the-go. Find the chocolatey vegan chewy bars HERE.

Considerations: These bars can be a bit hard to find in the grocery stores, so we prefer to find them online to ensure we can eat allergy friendly sweet vegan treats whenever we want.

1. E&C’s Snacks Heavenly Hunks – Certified Organic Gluten-Free Oatmeal Dark Chocolate Cookies

What We Love: YUM! Perfectly sweet with a hint of chocolate and hearty oats, these Heavenly Hunks from E&C foods are just that – heavenly. Because they are made from oats, you’ll find a bit of fiber, protein, and micronutrients. These chewy sweet vegan treats are perfect for snacking any time of the day. Check them out HERE.

Considerations: The chocolate chips in these Heavenly Hunks can get melty so not the best sweet vegan snack to leave in a hot car or black bag in the sun! Plus, since they are not individually wrapped, this makes them a bit harder to pack and take anywhere.
