Taste Experience

So how does the 365 Everyday Value Creamy Almond Butter taste?! Like a roasted almond lover’s dream come true. You have to like the taste of roasted almonds because the almonds are of high-quality and extra roasted to create that deep warm nutty almond flavor. The almonds are ground ultra-smooth to create a luxurious buttery-melt-in-your-mouth spread. The almond butter is fairly runny as there isn’t any emusifier to make it thicker, but it’s comparable to other natural almond butters. Now, in the crunchy 365 Everyday Value Almond Butter, the velvety smooth texture is interrupted with small almond nibs for that crunch you’re looking for in a crunchy nut butter. The chopped nut is similar to a crunchy peanut butter experience. Honestly, I weirdly prefer crunchy peanut butter and creamy almond butter so I like the smooth veletey smooth vegan option. The 365 Almond Butter is perfect texture to spread on toast, dip with an apple, or slather on a piece of chocolate…but if you like of almond butter like me, get ready for a bit of a mess if you really layer it on thick! 🙂

Before I get into the nutrition, I want to remind you that 365 Almond Butter does not have palm oil or sugar like many other almond, peanut, and nut butters. It doesn’t have added salt either. So, if you’re looking for a sweet or salty nut butter, you’ll either have to add that yourself or choose another brand. Personally, I love to add a hit of pink sea salt on top of wherever the almond butter goes because I love my almond butter and peanut butter to have just a taste of that alkaline salt taste. Mmm…so so good – I’m getting hungry now! Try the 365 Everyday Value Almond Butter today!

Nutrition

With only one ingredient – dry roasted almonds – the nutrition is pretty straightforward and because almonds are such a nutrition powerhouse, you really can’t go wrong!

Two tablespoons of 365 Everyday Value Creamy Almond Butter contains 190 calories with 17 grams of total fat. Almonds have some saturated fat, but they also have healthier polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats. Each two tablespoon serving has only 1.5 grams of saturated fat but 4 grams of polyunsaturated fat and 11 grams of monounsaturated fat to help prevent heart disease and promote overall great general health.

There is no sodium or cholesterol in 365 Everyday Value Creamy Almond Butter as almonds are naturally cholesterol free coming from plants and there is no salt added to this product. Personally, I love the simplicity of this vegan almond butter.

Almonds are in the seed family and have very little carbohydrate and most of that carbohydrate is fiber. For example, 365 Everyday Value Creamy Almond Butter has seven grams of total carbohydrate and three grams of fiber – that’s quite a bit! This fiber will help keep you satisfied and promote overall gut health. Of the total carbohydrates, there is also only 2 grams of sugar – and keep in mind that’s natural sugar. No sugar is added to 365 Everyday Value Creamy Almond Butter – unlike many other nut butters.

365 Everyday Value Creamy Almond Butter has 7 grams of plant-based protein in a two tablespoon serving. This is the same amount as a large egg! Nuts and seeds are a great source of vegan protein (and healthy fats that can sometimes be lacking in vegan diets). Almond butter is one of the easiest foods to add onto oatmeal, toast, apples, pears, or other foods to boost your protein intake – although you are probably getting enough protein. Plus, it’s a shelf-stable protein that requires no refrigeration or cooking!

Almonds are a great source of iron (6% of your daily value in one serving of this creamy vegan almond butter) and calcium (also 6% of your daily value in one serving). Iron in plant sources such as nuts, seeds, and legumes should be consumed with a source of vitamin C at the same time to help increase absorption, especially if you are iron deficient or you know you have lower levels. Instead of your standard peanut butter and jelly sandwich, use 365 Everyday Value Creamy Almond Butter with sliced or mashed strawberries to create an equally delish but far more nutrish sandwich!

Parting Thoughts

If you love almond butter but don’t love palm oil, excessive sugar, salt and other additives in many nut butters, try out 365 Everyday Creamy Almond Butter. With only 1 ingredient and a deep roasted almond flavor, this velvety smooth (it’s seriously ultra-smooth!) nut butter is the perfect spread for toast or dip for an apple. With seven grams of plant-based protein per serving, 365 Almond Butter is a natural almond butter you can feel good about eating and sharing with others (but you don’t have to share if you don’t want to 😉 ).
